DIAMOND DRILLING is the fastest and most cost effective method of creating clean openings through reinforced concrete slabs, walls and masonry walls. Holes can be drilled for cables, pipes, ducts, test cores and trunkings without creating any dust or causing any damage to surrounding structures.

DRILLCHASE LTD. currently drills holes from 9mm diameter to 750mm diameter, although larger holes can be drilled upon request. Larger diameter holes are especially suited to works in water treatment industry, where large bore pipes may need to pass through several walls.

DIAMOND DRILLING can be carried out using electric or hydraulic motors; the latter is used when noise disturbance needs to be kept to a minimum, as the motor is virtually silent in operation.

Ageing brickwork and stone structures such as bridges, abutments and foundations need to be strengthened by inserting tie bars through the structure. This is where diamond drilling really shows its true colours. Continuous holes at 54mm diameter are drilled right through the structure with no disturbance to surrounding areas. DRILLCHASE LTD. is able to drill these holes approximately 12 metres long.

DIAMOND WALL SAWING is a track-mounted system that is bolted to a wall and creates openings for doorways, windows and ducts. Other applications are creating separation joints prior to demolition and cutting openings where the floor saw would find it difficult to gain access.
